generally the way to go is an apple monitor, but they're not cheap and you probably don't need many of their features. to get close to mba/imac display look for hiDPI glossy monitors with P3 wide color gamut, for example benq MA270U or kuycon G27P

From India here! Check Benq’s gw2790qt. Its 27 inches 2k monitor but I am not sure about Airplay. I have purchased MA270U last week and its working great. I do remember seeing an Airplay option, will check how it works and update you tomorrow .. though its little over your budget as its 4k! Difficul

Hi! Nice. I ordered the BenQ MA270U because the Dell took way to long to arrive and canceled the order. The BenQ was also a lot cheaper. It’s been great, I recommend it the colors are perfect and really good resolution.
