PC illiterate - Help on finding a mini
The problem with the Beelink SER5 MAX 7735HS beyond the rebadged 6800H processor is the cost cutting lack of USB4 and the fact it's never been listed on the official website. I've also read that these 24GB LPDDR5 memory Beelink minis have problems like this. https://www.reddit.com/r/MiniPCs/s/rECBW7

[Conseil] Mini PC GMKtec NucBox M5 Ultra à 649€ — bon choix pour usage bureau 90% du temps ?
I tend to agree. But I also found a number of people this year who bought Beelink SER5 5800H/5825U mini PCs less than 2 or 3 years ago who found RAM capacity, storage options/speed and missing features cumbersome in the office environment. These weren't desktop machines being used for gaming. With R

Character development
Beelink ser5 This is close but really part of a "next tier" lineup. Overall a far worse gpu <50% of the performance of a cheaper computer(orin nano) and slower ram for even worse results. However it does have a better CPU so in many CPU games/emulators it could outperform the Orin. That being said A

Do your research. A cautionary tale.
I think it is better to take a look at the individual specs and internalize how they came up with the price. At $418 in Amazon, seems likely they compromised on the board and chips. Then they disguise it as a "color" where other "colors" are actually different products giving the illusion that it ha

Are these a steal?
Here's the best perspective. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/4760vs4979/AMD-Ryzen-5-5625U-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-PRO-6650H https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare/4668vs4858/Radeon-Ryzen-7-5825U-vs-Radeon-Ryzen-5-PRO-6650H The Beelink SER5 uses an older processor. Here in 2026 you can buy the recent

Beelink - what am I missing here?
The CPU is quite old and on the lower end. I would look into other Beelink PCs first. Like in my local area, there's a Beelink SER5 Max with AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS, 24GB RAM LPDDR5, and 1TB SSD for about $520. I'm assuming the TDP of the CPU is lower, but I find it more balanced of a package. But for Pl

32GB single SODIMM works fine on Beelink Mini S12 Pro (N100)
RAM prices are the only reason I'm still at the original RAM that came with my Beelink SER5 Pro. Ideally I'd have 64 GB over the stock 16.

How are Beelink Mini PCs?
Out of the mini PCs I tried Beelink was among the better built. The SER9 I had was also the most difficult to inspect and maintain. Overly complicated. My concerns with the SER5 MAX 7735HS have been past reports on their implementation of LPDDR5 24GB and the fact it's not on their official website.

Help my clueless butt pick a good mini pc
There's been reports of problems with Beelink minis like the EQR6 with soldered 24GB LPDDR5 memory. Yesterday u/TERRADUDE posted a experience with the SER5 MAX 24GB LPDDR5. The M7 has upgradable RAM, dual USB4 and OCuLink by comparison. A few things worth considering.
