Personally, I think that based on what you've said, espresso isn't the way to go, because it's not a fast process. If you try to make it fast, and end up cutting corners, it gets bad quick. Clever, Ain’t It?!
Can always have multiple brewers. I have the xbloom studio as well. When i am dead tired, i simply let xbloom do its thing. Now when i use switch i use the Lance Hedricks method of 3 pours. That too is an immersion brewer. So this thought alone should not stop you. Besides, percolation vs immersion

Convince me to pull the trigger
So had mine for a couple of weeks at this point, and it is making me seriously regret my previous brewer choice that I have had since lockdown (about 5 years give or take). I came from a Sage (Breville) Precision Brewer and the matching Smart Grinder Pro. The first brew I had off the Xbloom Studio,
