I'll be the first to say the usual answer of Technivorm Moccamaster. Literally only 2 switches, on/off and half/full brew. I really like mine, they're hand made, it's built like a tank and you get a lifelong warranty.

Technivorm. The company that makes the Moccamaster coffee machines. You can buy one for life if you take care of it. My brother still owns the one my parent bought 30 years ago. And Auping.

The grinder will be bad and the espresso it produces will be frustrating if your goal is to replicate what you’re drinking in good coffee houses. Do you really think that Technivorm didn't think of that?!? It was designed this way to keep the bed agitated. Your grounds should be fine enough that the water backs up in the brew basket. This must be the most misunderstood aspect of the Moccamaster.
