Clever, Ain’t It?!
Can always have multiple brewers. I have the xbloom studio as well. When i am dead tired, i simply let xbloom do its thing. Now when i use switch i use the Lance Hedricks method of 3 pours. That too is an immersion brewer. So this thought alone should not stop you. Besides, percolation vs immersion

Convince me to pull the trigger
