I love the Super Lintons and use them in my TV setup as well. Not a fan of running speaker cables in the wall though. 2.0 isn’t ideal for TV listening, especially with dialog, so I added a center, a Wharfedale Evo 5.C, and switched from an integrated amplifier to an AVR … what a difference that made

That’s about what I paid when they went on sale in March pre-tariffs. They are great speakers for 2 channel listening and definitely good value at that $1500/speaker. I chose these over the Wharfedale super lintons due to their better clarity and sharpness.

First of all, hell yeah. This looks like a system that’s easy to fall in love with. Well done. 1: you can test that, you tell us 2: the Lintons are a good bit bigger than typical bookshelves, i know wharfedale makes dedicated stands for them. I’ve seen third party ones, maybe best to look for those.

If you are going through the effort of doing a custom build you should use a higher quality mid and tweeter. They aren’t floor standing in the traditional sense, but Wharfedale super lintons are in my opinion perfect for old Dead recordings.

I don't have a sub. I just have wharfedale super lintons. I listen to classic rock and classic metal. I have a sub in my 5.1 surround. But I don't feel it adds much

Very nice setup. Let us know what you end up using on the grills if you reupholster them. I tried listening to my Super Lintons without the grills and definitely prefer them on. I've read that Wharfedale tuned them with the grills in place. To everyone saying to pull them away from the wall, the Sup
