Uber Linton?

Many new series of speakers do. But Wharfedale was doing a retro revival of its early era speakers with the Linton. They also revived the Dovedale from the 1960s, as the retro equivalent of a floorstanding speaker - massive box still with three drivers, but gigantic woofer. Four driver tower speaker

Wharfedale build quality

I have walnut Linton 85 and UK-built Harbeths that retail for 3x as much and actually prefer the veneers on the made-in-China Wharfedales.

Modern Speakers with a vintage sound?

I am a “vintage” audiophile. When I was becoming one 55 years ago there were few if any tower speakers with multiple small drivers and narrow baffles. Speakers had 8” or larger woofers, wider baffles, and were boxier. So the Wharfedale range of Linton Classic, Super Linton, and Dovedale are throwbac
