New fios router?

It's called the CHR30. We just started rolling it out in select areas. Looks like you're in one of them. It functions as a router and extender which is why we call it a WiFi access point, and yes it's WiFi 7 capable! No more CR1000/CE1000 / G3100/E3200 multi-SKU solutions for Whole Home WiFi anymore

Fios Router Upgrade Availability

They're doing you a favor. G3100 is the best router that Verizon currently supports.

G3100 Resale

No, you won't need a moca adapter. The g3100 has one built in just like the g1100 (or any Verizon branded fios router). The g3100 would be a direct replacement of the g1100. No extra setup or wiring needed.

Just installed the new CHR30 WiFi access point.

I just installed the four new units last night and I’m really liking this system. I’m coming from a G3100 and two E3200 extenders, so the extra extender and the 6GHz band really transformed my network. The WiFi covers my entire 3600 sq. ft house and everything just feels snappier. There’s a few bugs

E3200 Replacements

The e3200 is the only plug and play option for the g3100, since they are designed to work together. Verizon is the only router "manufacturer" I know of that integrates moca into their routers and extenders. If you do anything "piecemeal" to use with the g3100, you may have issues with roaming betwee

G3100 Resale

In that if case if you have TV service you will want to get a Verizon router just to keep it simple. The G3100 is excellent.

Remote Access Consistently Dropping. This Noob Need Help!

Good you’re not CGNAT, so can cross that off the list. Before you start, you’re gonna have to do a few steps to reconfigure things, and likely why you’ve been having issues in general. Having that Verizon gateway and your plex server plugged into it and the rest of your network going through the mes

Upgrading network hardware

If you insist on having Verizon hardware, why not just get a G3100 and two E3200 extenders to do exactly what you want? No configuration to do, it just works.

Help with what’s needed: Tv + Internet

You don't need 2 set top boxes, but need at least one. You can use the Verizon Home app on 2nd TV but IMO the box experience is better than the app, and it costs the same amount to use either so choose the box. You can use the adapters to provide a hardwired connection to devices if you want. But th

Help with Home Network. Involves FIOS, MOCA, and Deco Mesh

So that is the status as of now. Everything is still wired per the map except the ethernet from the G3100 LAN to the Deco has been unplugged and the MoCA to satellite Deco ethernet cable is disconnected. This isn't what you'd want. If I'm understanding this (transient) setup correctly, the primary D
