Wireless Door Access

My front door lock is not Ubiquiti brand. It is the Baldwin keyed door lock that has identical keys for the lever and for the deadbolt. We don't use the deadbolt in regular operation, just at night when everybody's home. However, the lever is engaged into the Ubiquiti strike plate, which can be open

Has anyone been able to get the temperature working on the G6 Pro Entry?

i've seen a few posts about this on the ubiquiti community - seems like a firmware bug with the g6 pro entry specifically. weather toggle works on other g6 models but not that one. what helped some people was factory resetting then setting up weather before adopting to protect. but honestly most are

Is anybody using AIPhone for door entry? Need tablet app help...

We swapped out our Avigilon doorbell & ACM software for a full Ubiquiti solution. G6 Pro Entry and 2 Intercom viewers - the front office staff love how much better of an experience is compared to fumbling with the ACM software.

Why does Lorex have 3 different Apps?

Came to say the same. Ive had my setup less than 2 years and have been migrating away from it as I can get new devices. I have the N910A6 nvr, 4-e871ab (180° dual lens), 4-w461asc (2k wireless indoor) and 1-e910ab (4k+ 12mp ultra he bullet). The cameras were good their software is garbage! Trying to

Reolink or Ubiquiti unifi Cameras?

Reolink are meant more to be used in urban areas with tons of lighting at night. This is because Reolink IR night vision models do not have very good performance at night (this might change eventually with a new professional models they might release this year, also Elite xPro beats the G6 180° IMO)

Lorex Classic iOS app won’t keep some cams in HD?

The Lorex app has just been developed worst and worst and is the main reason I have ditched my NVR and most of my cameras. I have my 4 of the 180º cameras still from Lorex, but I have the replacements for those to install which are Ubiquiti G6 180 cameras and then I will officially be free of Lorex.

G6 Pro Entry is the right choice?

i set up something similar with a g6 pro entry on a gate in spain. the access hub mini works with most 12v or 24v electric strikes but italian locks sometimes use weird voltages. your electrician can put a multimeter on the existing lock to check. you got the major parts right - g6 pro entry, access

Upgrade from Lorex system

I ran a Lorex system for about 8 years and decided to upgrade last March to their newer NVR and cameras for the better picture and ai detections. Since I was already in the Ubiquiti ecosystem by running their Access Points and UNAS, I decided to buy just two UI cameras just to experiment with since

Looking for advice on security camera placement

Glad you are talking to experts! I am just a construction nerd who has built a lot of houses. Last "while you are building" thing to drop on you... Since your kids will share that upstairs bathroom, did you happen to opt for a floor drain in their bathroom? The only downside to floor drains is that

3rd Party Monitoring

3rd party monitoring as in virtual guard? I've wondered a lot about this too. I've learned that nearly all of the virtual guard companies (including Edgeworth, the one that I've heard most commonly recommended) use Immix as their middleware to connect to customer camera systems. While Immix doesn't
