Gotta love living 10min from a MC, no shipping and way lower taxes.
Big problem is they only carry certain items. For example my store has outdoor flex but doesn’t have outdoor box and not the 60 watt power supply. They sell the white G6 bullet but not the black bullet. They don’t sell the G6 turret. It’s so hit or miss I end up ordering direct from Ubiquiti anyway.

Wireless Door Access
My front door lock is not Ubiquiti brand. It is the Baldwin keyed door lock that has identical keys for the lever and for the deadbolt. We don't use the deadbolt in regular operation, just at night when everybody's home. However, the lever is engaged into the Ubiquiti strike plate, which can be open

G6 Pro installed - easier than I thought
Cool, as this may be a future upgrade for me! I am currently using the Ring Doorbell Elite (1st Gen), which has the wired PoE connection: Video Doorbell Elite | Professional-Grade Smart Doorbell | Ring I looked earlier at the 2nd generation, which is $499. I would rather go with the G6 Pro, as it is

Has anyone been able to get the temperature working on the G6 Pro Entry?
i've seen a few posts about this on the ubiquiti community - seems like a firmware bug with the g6 pro entry specifically. weather toggle works on other g6 models but not that one. what helped some people was factory resetting then setting up weather before adopting to protect. but honestly most are

Does POE Retrofit Kit fit in junction box with G6 Entry?
I know these guys just released one specifically for this for the Pro. Maybe they’ll do one for the non pro if you contact them. Super helpful company I use them a lot for custom stuff. They are a little pricey but their stuff is top notch in my experience. https://23eightfive.com/products/ubiquiti-

What's the point of the AI Pro now?
Lol, everyone in this thread is getting confused by the naming scheme (good job Ubiquiti). There is the G6 Pro Bullet, the AI Pro, and the G6 Bullet (There's also a G6 turret). The AI Pro does not have a bigger sensor than the G6 bullet. They both have a 1/1.8" sensor. The recently released G6 Pro h

Looking for Outdoor Cam for Long Driveway.
What you require (for maximum performance/security) are 2 cameras, possibly 3 even. You want 2 cameras (or more) because the first one will overlook the general scene (close to your home) and you will need another one with optical zoom, because 1/4 mile is a lot to cover. Cat 5/5e/6 can run up to 32

Still waiting for someone to explain why Riverside, Avondale,St Johns Ave or Riverside Ave and Ortega Blvd have no Flock LPRs at all. This also goes for San Marco on San Jose 13 in its core of wealthy homes and the so called VIP.
Ubiquiti is definitely on the low-moderate end for what it actually provides. If you do most of the install yourself (most will still want to find a low voltage electrician installer for cat6 poe cables + front doorbell if no existing powered doorbell), it's the gateway/firewall/vpn/nvr device w/man

How is everyone feeling about the new doorbells now that a little time as passed?
I’m in the same boat. My son wanted to get me a doorbell cam last Christmas but I told him to hold off as I wa waiting on the new Ubiquiti doorbell. Well here we are and I’m not too thrilled on the size of the g6 pro entry. G6 entry is more tolerable but lacks screen. Not a biggie but it will really

Another huge price hike on Nest Aware next month. From $150/yr to $200/yr
Unifi G6 Instant if you want to stay wireless, Unifi G6 Bullet or Turret if going wired. They all have the same 4K sensor and your footage is stored locally and not on anyone's servers. Miles ahead in smart detections using on-device AI. Short video from Ubiquiti for these cameras:https://www.youtub
