Is there a hardware fix for a UDM SE that won’t boot after power loss? Mine is out of warranty.

This is my favorite comment, claiming the UDM-SE is a cheap junk router, and it’s surprising it’s lasted this long, and I should have thrown it out because everyone knows firewalls wear out quickly especially when you run gigs of data through them, like 5 years max, & never mind that is was only mad

Advice on UDM SE, Doorbell Lite, PoE Chime & USW-Lite-16 Setup

That's more than I'd hang on the SE's AIO utility switch. It only has 1 GbE uplink to the UDM-SE proc. Cameras and IoT hubs only. APs and downstream switches are not good things to hook up there. Long thread on the topic. You really want a core switch hanging off of one of your SFP+ ports with a DAC

U7 lite vs U6+

My UDM-SE died in January, while I was out of town. It's at home so it wasn't a super huge deal (although the websites I host were all down) but my big worry was my wife. She's tech savvy enough to at least grab a spare ethernet cable and plug the Phillips Hue hub into the AT&T Fiber router itself s

UDM‑SE vs USW‑Pro‑Max‑16‑PoE

The UDM-xxx line really wants to be mated with a good core switch via DAC. Say a Pro Max 16 or 24 PoE, for example. That said, those ports are useful for many things, and aren't a horrible place to start out with, if you're spacing out purchases (SE, then switch, say). Low-bandwidth uses for UDM-xxx
