Well I bought the Turin Legato V2 (I'm in the UsA). I was either going to get the Gaggia or the Gemilai 3007Z (Turin Legato V2 or MiCoffee Apex V2 in these parts). Gaggia interested me due to it's long solid reputation but I wanted to be able to adjust things as my tastes change in coffee every so o

Turin Legato V2 would be the only machine in your price range (actually under it) that would be a notable upgrade. Makes very good espresso and milk drinks, not quite dual boiler but very near it with a brew boiler and separate thermoblock for steaming. Pre-infusion, PID control, adjustable OPV, and

Congrats on the Eureka Mignon--they're all good machines and very self serviceable. If you're willing to spend, my favorite of the Lot is the Profitec-Go. I got a Turin Legato V2 because I could not afford the Profitec-Go --yes buy once cry once, but I also wanted to understand my own commitment to

It's a nice machine. I would advise people to get a Gemilai 3007Z (Turin Legato or MiCoffee Apex V2s) So this machine has 1 standout--an accessible flow control knob. The turin Legato you have to use a screw driver The preinfusion on this (presoak) is identical to the Turin Legato V2 ---still lets w

The Turin Legato V2 lets you set up one pull volume--it's set by time not volume. You dial in your pull volume on the manual setting , to get your perfect shot--by measuring time and weight on a scale---then you very very easily set time on the automatic unit. I switch between two volumes by simply

I have the Turin Legato V2. I don't have any complaints about the steam knob at all. Nice grippy rubber knob of a very decent size. My one complaint relates to the touch sensitive buttons to set temperatures and preinfusion/ delay times. Sometimes touching them works, other times they just don't fir

yes us again! Round three on this: A threaded insert of proper bore but it's got to be a thin diameter to fit in the housing hole the screw occupies. or fuel line hose pushed over the screw --my take on this is it will be ugly as thin wire would be wrapped around the screw threads a bit to insure th

I measured without estimating--- in ml. 19 grams of water for 3 seconds of preinfusion (19ml) 30ml for 8 second (p1 + p2) those 5 second of preinfusion are 11 grams (11ml). I measured without estimating--- in grams . One day I'll buy a blue tooth scale which then allows me to run a better flow meter

Own the Turin Legato V2--purchased through Espresso Outlet. 4-5 months , stainless steel finish by choice Pulling 4 shots / day and it's great. Ability to adjust pressure readily, change both brew and steam temp (but I don't touch steam)--great. Warm up--depends on the person but I set mine on a tim

Here in the USA-we have a similar problem --the Turin Legato V2 is sold by Espresso Outlet and they handle parts and service. So it's kind of a 1 horse race if I need a part. That said I have connections in Asia and could go winnowing about for Gemilai parts which are easily found there -- My guess
