What would I upgrade to? [$500-800]

Turin Legato V2 would be the only machine in your price range (actually under it) that would be a notable upgrade. Makes very good espresso and milk drinks, not quite dual boiler but very near it with a brew boiler and separate thermoblock for steaming. Pre-infusion, PID control, adjustable OPV, and

Turin Legato v2 vs Bambino Plus [Budget $550]

Well Turin Legato V2 owner here (Gemilai 3007Z / MiCoffee Apex V2 )--it's available in Europe btw under other names. You talk about pushing your budget higher yet underscore autosteam (not even sure what that is)---Steam is great on Turin Legato V2. You can incautiously pull data from Redditors for

Is the Gaggia Classic Pro really that much better than a DeLonghi ECP?

the gaggia is overrated. small boiler, bad temp control. temp surfing is annoying, making back to back shots is difficult. adding a PID would help, but most kits cost >200 and you have to spend a lot of time. i upgraded to the apex miicoffee v2 / turin legato v2 after my gaggia and am extremely happ

put together a quick table comparing beginner espresso machines under $300[$300]

Should add the Turin Legato V2/MiiCoffee Apex V2. At this point probably the best option under $600 unless you exclusively make milk drinks and want the auto steam of bambino+.

Noob looking for my first espresso machine and grinder for [$1200 to $2200]

How about a Turin Legato V2? I have a similar machine at home and it warms up fast with no waiting time to steam too. I can wake up, switch on the machine, go take a shower and the machine will be ready to make the first cup.

GCP vs Miicoffee apex V2 vs Lelit Anna [500€]

In the USA---for now--Espresso Outlet is selling the Turin Legato V2 and most folks really applaud the customer service from the seller. I did a great deal of reading on the Gemilai 3007Z where I could find it in use in Asia. This meant looking at youtube videos in other languages (among other sourc

I need a bump! First Machine Paralysis [$500]

I went with a Turin Legato V2 and have been very happy with it so far. That would be right in your price range. Yes it’s a Chinese manufactured and rebranded machine but it’s all metal (alloy of some sort), and feels very well built and aesthetically pleasing. PID controller (although only in Celsiu

Starter Machine - Did I get this right? [€500]

some other details missing from the Turin Legato V2. It has flow control as well as OPV. It came with two steam tips-both work very well. Drip Tray is easy to remove and hasn't been a problem- I release water to heat up the head. I routinely spray the milk steamer before using it and after. I empty

Just ordered a Turin legato v2

I am now about a week or two on the Turin Legato V2. 1) No regrets. 2) first things I did was set OPV. You use the back flow stopper--black thing (rubber) -put it in a basket , put portafilter in and so easy to set. I went with 9 bars. 3) Set water flow (the recessed screw to the left of the portafi

I need advice on an upcoming upgrade possibility [1700-1800$]

I have the Turin Legato V2. I don't have any complaints about the steam knob at all. Nice grippy rubber knob of a very decent size. My one complaint relates to the touch sensitive buttons to set temperatures and preinfusion/ delay times. Sometimes touching them works, other times they just don't fir
