Why is Archer BE550 so much better than the Dream Router 7 here?

If you want really fast speed tests go with the BE550. If you want a fully featured networking device go with Unifi.

How do WiFi extenders work?

They do work but it is not quite plug it in and forget it like people expect. I tried a couple random extenders first and they technically connected but performance was messy with drops and slowdowns. I ended up using the TP Link BE550 Mesh system and it was a lot more predictable. You still need to

Megvalósítható ez a wifi mesh rendszer a lakásban?

Ne a Deco-t vedd, hanem easymesh kompatibilis cuccot.

Max wireless bitrate Quest 3 can handle and router selection

500 Mbps is the max. For 150 euros, there's the Davolink Kevin or TP-Link's AXE5400/AXE75. I'm assuming you're using Virtual Desktop. You can join their Discord for further help, but this is what they recommend: "The following routers have been reported to work reliably from a number of users:(Prefe

10Gb Router for Home?

You can get a Unifi Cloud Gateway Fiber which has 2 SFP 10Gb ports, 1 Rj45 10gbps port and 4 2.5 gbps ports. You can use the BE550 in AP mode. If you are near a microcentre they offer the UCG fiber for 20$ off rn and you can save on shipping.

Meshing together Deco units and Archer router

You can't mesh them together, as they're not compatible. Even if you give the WiFi networks the same name, these will still be two different WiFi networks, and you won't be able to seamlessly roam between them. There is no actual reason to keep your BE550 as one of the Decos can be your main router.

Is $49.99 for Cogeco 1 Gig a good loyalty deal, or should I have taken 1.5 Gig?

If you only use their router, don't bother going more than a gig. The ~600 Mbps on WiFi, you'll always see even if you got the 2 gig or even 1.5 gig. I do have Cogecos Sagemcom modem with its 2.5 gig port... it is bridged (Sagemcom basically acting as a classic modem) to a TP-LINK BE550 it has all 2

2 years on Launtel FTTP + TP-Link BE550 zero dropouts, wanted to share a positive data point

How are you finding the BE550? I’ve just upgraded to it from a Dlink DSL5300. The 2.5gb ethernet and wifi 7 are great

Which router should I buy? Or any better suggestions

Same, it’s listed as BE9300 (Archer BE550) on Amazon. It works great for me, zero issues in having it for a year. Plenty of options to customize and signal strength is great. I already had a WiFi 6 TP-Link router and I upgraded my main unit and kept the old one to use in the garage as a mesh WiFi no

Aging router upgrade advice

If you are happy with your single all-in-one, there's no need to go with a mesh system. There's nothing "better" about it, it's usefulness is extending wifi coverage when you can't or won't wire an access point. Here are some suggestions within your budget.
