GL.iNet Flint 2 - overkill for 1 bedroom apartment?
Depends on what you are looking for, that is mainly a router worth it if you want good VPN performance, built in adguard and like to tinker (OSS). If you. just want performance for the same budget, TP-Link Archer BE550 or ASUS RT-AX82U V2. Imho.

This won't work with Deco Mesh. It will work with easymesh. You could buy some TP link BE550, which are great for the price (usually on sale for $170), as they are easymesh compatible. Suggestions for average gaming and family Netflix
Wi-Fi 7 routers like the TP-Link Archer BE3600 or BE550 are now fairly budget friendly. Last I checked they were around $100. What's the best router for a home office that can also do PCVR?
I recommend just getting a router that your headset supports. Quest 3 supports 6ghz wifi on 6e, but you can probably get a great signal like I do (i live in a condo building, tons of networks around but still great connection on 5ghz via the Puppis S1). As mentioned before, it is not advised to use

New router up and running
When I was researching WiFi 7, I came across many people returning the TP link BE550. It's was the cheapest WiFi 7 routers going at the time but it seemed to be unreliable. Hopefully you won't have the same issues.

Should I get a 6e or WiFi 7 router for my apartment?
Axe75 looks really good. Some used be550’s are on sale pretty damn close to target price point, may be the move!
