Question about buying a router for Virtual Desktop
dedicated router for Quest 3 does not need to be connected to your modem or the internet. You can connect a router directly to your PC via Ethernet (PC-to-router) to create a private, lag-free local network for VR. The PC will still use your AT&T WiFi for internet access, while the Quest uses the ne

Harganya emang rata2 deket

2 degrees router issues
Yeah get a new router. I'm with 2 degrees and replaced their rubbish router with a TP Link AX55 a few years ago. That was pretty much the end of my network issues. ISP provided routers are generally cheap and crappy

Compatible Routers Help
They made that a while ago obviously, like 2014. I would look at a NETGEAR RS90 or a TP-Link Archer AX55 for an all around good router for an apartment. They are both around $100 and give good performance.

What is a normal price for a homelab router?
I've just been messing with the TP-Link AX55 some relatives have (AX3000, about $75 at Amazon) and it seems like it would do all the things the average homelab would need. Maybe not every-everything if you like to customize things up the wazooba or would prefer to run something more open source. Loo

Mesh networking with Ethernet
If you wanna stay TP-Link The Archer AX55 is a marvellous contraption, as in it can actually push the Guest network to other AX55s around the house via EasyMesh R2. It doesn't have to be cloud connected to operate unlike Deco models. You can host a dlna media server. You can host a Wireguard VPN ser

The TP-Link Archer AX55/AX55 Pro or Asus RT-AX55 for 1Gbps fibre?
Realistically speaking, with wifi 6 (802.11ax), you’ll get a peak of 600 to 800 mbps assuming your client device supports wifi 6, connected to 5GHz over 160 MHz wide channel. Both TP-Link Archer AX55 and AX55 pro supports this. The difference between the 2 is that AX55 pro has 1-2.5 gbE WAN and 1.25

Looking to buy a New router, is this price legit?
With 500mbps you don't need to go any higher than wifi 6. You can get a non-bottlenecking router for less than $150. If you value your time more than the savings, the wifi 7 will mean you don't need to upgrade when internet speeds increase. The TP-Link archer ax55 is a good wifi 6 option, and the me
