Question about buying a router for Virtual Desktop

dedicated router for Quest 3 does not need to be connected to your modem or the internet. You can connect a router directly to your PC via Ethernet (PC-to-router) to create a private, lag-free local network for VR. The PC will still use your AT&T WiFi for internet access, while the Quest uses the ne

Best WiFi Router to buy? (Speed, Range, Reliability)

WiFi 6 is still the best value right now. Its fast, stable, and handles lots of devices well. WiFi 7 is good but kinda overkill unless you’ve got top-tier internet. Good real-world options: ASUS RT-AX86U → great for gaming + stability TP-Link Archer AX55/AX73 → best budget-performance balance TP-Lin

Wifi

Burlington telecom is the best provider for home internet. For a WiFi router, the TP-Link Archer AX55 is a good value.

KUB Fiber

We bought our own Archer AX55 and it's worked great. The only hiccup I've had in years was forgetting to check for a firmware update (which is easy)

Compatible Routers Help

They made that a while ago obviously, like 2014. I would look at a NETGEAR RS90 or a TP-Link Archer AX55 for an all around good router for an apartment. They are both around $100 and give good performance.

What is a normal price for a homelab router?

I've just been messing with the TP-Link AX55 some relatives have (AX3000, about $75 at Amazon) and it seems like it would do all the things the average homelab would need. Maybe not every-everything if you like to customize things up the wazooba or would prefer to run something more open source. Loo

Looking to buy a New router, is this price legit?

Guys is my router dead?

Ah yep. Anything TP-Link will do you fine. You can pick up a TP-Link Archer AX55 AX3000 atm for around ~$160. Their app isn't too bad and most of their stuff is decent for the price.
