Please tell me if it is possible to have guest network also on Easymesh nodes connected via ethernet backhaul

Just and update, there is this... https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/786342 I have a 3 x AX55 v1.6. I've downloaded the latest firmware for all 3 of them. The mesh is set up, but as far as I can tell from the management screens, it doesn't seem like it is working? I'm going to have to

I feel like IPv4 is vastly superior for home networks than IPv6

IPv6 doesn’t have forwards. The IPv6 equivalent to UPnP merely creates allows in the IPv6 firewall itself. Or you make an allow rule for that port, arbitrary IP, explicitly in your router level firewall. Assuming the router can support such rules. (My Archer AX55 can’t)

What is a normal price for a homelab router?

I've just been messing with the TP-Link AX55 some relatives have (AX3000, about $75 at Amazon) and it seems like it would do all the things the average homelab would need. Maybe not every-everything if you like to customize things up the wazooba or would prefer to run something more open source. Loo

Finally hardwired my ps5

Most important is not speed, but your internet stability. Quality of wifi. Because portal doesn't buffer, you are playing live, so if there is some drops you feel it... I wasn't able to play EA FC 25, now I can without single problem.. Because I bought Archer AX55, and replaced my internet company d

Router Advice

Ah, that’s rough about your 86U! If you liked it before, the ASUS 86U Pro is a solid choice. It supports Merlin firmware, VPNs, and gaming features you’re used to. The “upgraded CPU” model isn’t necessary for a 2-bed apartment. The TP-Link AX55 is cheaper and simpler, with decent speeds for streamin

OpenWrt One - Low Download/Upload Speed

I should be getting 400mbps symmetrical. I've tested with another router (Archer AX55) and I am receiving the rated speeds.

FTTC or Starlink

Your problem is the poor packet management of your router. Get a TP-Link Archer AX55 and set it to “gaming” mode on the QoS page.

Advise for north Italy: FTTC vs. Starlink Standard

Starlink will help but not because it will provide higher upload. It will help because Starlink router has a great packet management by default. It won't allow uploading session to saturate your uplink. You can get the same improvement if you get a 3rd party router that does not suffer from bufferbl
