🚀TOS 7 Officially Released! Welcome to Try It and Share Your Feedback
I’ve actually been running it as my main daily driver on my F2-425 Plus for the past month and it’s been pretty flawless. I did keep wondering why there hadn’t been many updates until this morning and now I know why! Excellent work!

Is TOS 7 a thing already?
I've got my f2-425 plus in 20th January. On the first day I've installed TOS 7 and using it for about 6 months and I can say it's good enough but everyone has own setup, apps etc. I have; one 256 gb nVME, 22TB HDD and 8TB HDD installed. Below are the stacks I'm using on Docker Using also some TOS ap

Is the price worth it?
Genuine question here. If you’ve only got a small collection, why are you paying extra for a 4 bay unit when a 2 would suffice ? I’ve got about 8TB on my F2-425 Plus just for me and it’s absolutely fine. But then to answer your question, the plus units have upgraded processors, more ram and, I belie

Can I use SSD for TOS?
I’ve got an F2-425 Plus and I’ve got TOS installed on the first SSD, all of my docker containers installed on my second and all of my media on my ironwolf pro hard drives. You’ll be fine.

Home NAS - Synology? QNAP? Ugreen?
2 months ago I was in your shoes and afterall I went with Terramaster F2-425 plus :) and could not be happier. If you don't like the system, you can always change it, even for xpenology. For me TOS is enough (data, jellyfin, qBittorrebt, Immich, Home Assistant)

Is it possible to directly import my Google Photos?
Welcome to the TerraMaster family! High five—choosing the F2-425 Plus as your first NAS is definitely a wise move. Regarding the migration from Google Photos, I completely agree with the Google Takeout method mentioned by basula above. Although it involves some manual work, given Google's current AP

Why go with a mini PC with all my containers + NAS for file storage instead of running it all on a NAS since newer NAS can run everything just as well as a mini PC?
I've had NAS drives for just over 12 years with Synology accounting for 99% of them until I made the jump to Terramaster last year and got a F2-425 Plus with upgraded 32gb ram. For my Jellyfin setup there's honestly nothing better I could get. I've got two m.2 SSD's installed alongside my 24TB data

🍂What message did the leaves leave? 💌🔍
No regrets needed – you're in a great spot!😊The F2-425 Plus is our last new NAS for the year, packing thoughtful upgrades from the F4-424. This means you're getting the most refined hardware that is perfectly poised to take full advantage of TOS 7 the moment it drops.

Looking for a budget NAS for a small home project
Don't go for the DH2300 because it is an ARM processor so severely going to hamper your flexibility because most stuff doesn't work on ARM. The DXP2800 is a great option. Otherwise the newer TerraMaster F2-425 or F2-425 Plus are options depending on availability in your area. As for OS, I generally
