Moccamaster if you want something that makes great coffee with minimal fuss. We got the KBGV Select last year and it's been fantastic. Recommend getting the glass carafe, it's much easier to clean than the stainless steel one.

For this use case, i’d keep it boring, honestly, and buy a good drip brewer instead of chasing espresso or app features.
