If you want an easy plug and play solution, with minor work, reliable and that doesn't need much time to setup, get a Synology NAS. Is building a custom NAS with Unraid or True NAS worth it over pre build solutions, and if yes, how to do it?

Just a heads I'd stay away from Synology, they are currently deep into their enshittification Era. 1st they are forcing people to buy they're branded drives and 2nd Nas Campares just posted this video:Synology Kills Graphics Drivers and HEVC & H.264 HW Transcoding on the J4125 NAS (DS225+ & DS425+)
