You’ll notice that almost everything I printed here is with Sunlu PLA, which I honestly think is amazing. To give you an example: I printed a pink bird feeder in PLA and put it outside on my balcony in full sun all day in May (I live in the countryside in Italy, where it gets insanely hot — like 40°

I'm happy to see another Sovol user working on these. I signed up for it about 10 days ago. I am super excited to be able to use my 3d printers to help these kids. Unfortunately it has been an exercise in patience, as I'm still waiting for the PETG for the first build. It should arrive tomorrow. And

I have two very nice enclosed printers (Voron V2.4 and Tiny-M) and I am still impressed by Sovol SV06 plus ace and it's easy usage. Sovol did everything important right on this printer. Yes, there was some cost cutting that I don't like (absurdly loud fans in power supply and electronic box) and som

My first printer was the SV06 plus ace and I couldn’t get it to work for weeks cause of styrofoam in the plate. Then I bought the P1S and I absolutely loved it best printer by far. Then I got the ender 3 v3 for like 260 after shipping and it’s a pretty cool little printer the quality is really on po

Personally, coming from someone with an upgraded ender 3 pro, I was kinda looking at 2 main options. I have similar priorities, plus wanting it to be quiet or modifiable to be quiet, and bigger build area. I like a bit of hands on work, but want less of it now, and just want to hit print, but also n

The sv06 is a great machine, but in my experience with Sovol, they can all take some tinkering to get perfect. My Sv07 Plus can be quite the bitch to get level, but from what I’ve seen the sv06 is still better than that machine. If I could make a suggestion, if you can swing it, look at the Ace vers

I have about 10 years of FDM experience. Purchased the SVO6 Plus ACE as a spare while working with PLA materials. All of my existing machines are enclosed core x/y w/ high temp extruders. It is a good printer. A little TLC and upgrades will make for a great value. I have one suggestion as a priority

Avoid elevation at all costs. Their printers are mid quality at best, and their firmware violates the GPL 3.0 license of Klipper. Bambu is decent, but their locked down ecosystem is why I avoid them, but that isn't the most important for most users. I recommend Sticking with the A1 Going for a Sovol

The frame on the Plus is light-weight for the size, which means it vibrates (resonates) a bit more than it should. Some angle braces to dampen the frame can make a big difference. If you look at the SV06 Plus ACE, you will see that they added bracing. I replaced my top bar with a 2020 extrusion so I

I've been using the SV06 Plus ACE for about two weeks now – and honestly, it's been a real rollercoaster. It started with the bed being completely loose. Then I noticed a weird humming noise coming from the Y-axis. The bed also doesn't heat evenly – I'm seeing temperature differences of up to 7 degr
