For cosplay you'll probably need a bit more space. I might recommend a sovol sv08 or sv06 plus ace. I have an artillery sidewinder x4 plus s1 that is an absolute beast for only like $230 but it does require a bit of understanding of what's going on and probably isn't the best beginner printer

You’ll notice that almost everything I printed here is with Sunlu PLA, which I honestly think is amazing. To give you an example: I printed a pink bird feeder in PLA and put it outside on my balcony in full sun all day in May (I live in the countryside in Italy, where it gets insanely hot — like 40°

I am/was in a similar boat as you. I got the SV06 ACE and the SV06 Plus ACE and they were great printers for a couple of years. It was a little tricky to dial in things like flow rates though. This year they started having problems, especially with the Y-axis movement, and it happened right around C

It depends on your definition on "good printer". They are having good price to performance ratio, but you will need to do more little bit more maintenance on them than on Prusa or Bambulab printers. Also printing profiles for them will need some slight tuning from you to get perfect results. Yes, So

If I needed a big, relatively inexpensive, large printer I'd get the SV06 Plus ACE. Sovol fixed the problems with the regular SV06 Plus, like the lack of dual Z motor controllers and bracing for the frame. These can be added to the SV06 Plus, but you'll have a bit of a learning curve to overcome. I

so the M5C is no longer owned by anker as they sold their entire 3d printing line to eufy. also that printer is 5ish years old now if I remember correctly. I would be more worried about parts/support buying one personally. you don't need to be an engineer to enjoy 3d printing. there is such a range

Well, it kinda depends on what subreddit are you looking. Most of them are filled with fanboys. I can tell you just my experience with the new generation of fast printers because i owned a few. Anycubic kobra 3: was an ok printer, didn,t had issues with it , but the mmu system was a manace. Maybe i

after many month of getting part and dealing with support i finally got my sv06 plus ace working.. It's a hassle and seems like it will never work, but in the end i know this machine backwards and forwards , there isn't anything mechanical on this i couldn't fix without help from support. So after a

Go big or go home. If I was looking for a big printer I'd probably go for a sovol sv06 plus ace
