Is there anything I should know about the bambu P1S before buying?

In fact everyone should look at Sovol. Want a cheap bed slinger with levelling? SV06 plus ACE. Want something more suited to printing for ants? Sovol Zero. Wanna go outrageously huge? SV08 Max, at 500mm cubed. The ridiculous amount of features they cram in at decent prices, and currently claiming "f

Sovol SV06 Ace Plus firmware question

Whatever you do, don't update the "SV06 Plus ACE" with the "SV06 ACE" firmware. It will ruin the build plate and the nozzle by dislocating the nozzle wiping area to the middle of the build plate instead of the corner. That will cause the nozzle to grind into the PEI coating and scrape it off. Sovol

Some of them are more modifiable than others because they

Considering buying the SV06 ACE (My First Printer / Functional Prints)

I've been using the SV06 Plus ACE for about two weeks now – and honestly, it's been a real rollercoaster. It started with the bed being completely loose. Then I noticed a weird humming noise coming from the Y-axis. The bed also doesn't heat evenly – I'm seeing temperature differences of up to 7 degr

3D printer recs

The Sovol Sv06 Plus Ace. It's on sale for now. It has a 300mm bed. It's pretty big. But it'll handle any sized prints you throw at it. Or get the non-plus edition at 220mm, if the previous printer may be too big. Both are practically the same. Automatic bed leveling, camera for monitoring, vibration
