Here's my current setup: ZVE10 - got it from FB Marketplace 2nd hand for $500. Shoots 4k 30fps. Eye and face tracking is pretty good. Can shoot for 2+ hours just fine without battery swaps if you plug it into a power bank and the internal battery is fully charged. There are some situations when it d

I have the ZV-E10 (Mk 1) & Hollyland Lark M2 which work very well together - never had any issues. The standard 16-50mm kit lens works well - especially when you do talking head video where you can control the lighting (it helps maintain focus). I found that you may want to use manual focus when doi

:X Maybe im toxic and too into cameras but i'd advise a sony a7iv. You can changes lenses and overall its a better camera. It will actually look professional rather than a VERY expensive point and shoot. However the better one is Sony ZV-E10 with better autofocus, just remember it is moreso a vloggi

Agreed, generally speaking, Sony is better in autofocus but the zve10 mark 1 is much older than the canon r50v. The AF algorithm is much much better in this canon than the Sony zve10. Now if we compare Sony bodies after 2023, of course the Sonys are better.

I've been browsing this sub for a few days now. I'm genuinely not trying to be a dick here but is the ZV E10 a low end amateur camera? Every part I've seen so far is barely focused or ultra soft.

The 4k on R100 is not even usable. Way too cropped and always struggles with focus. I have used a ZV-E10 and it was atleast smooth 4k

I want to get into the hobby of photography/ videography My primary use case involves 60% video and 40% photography. For video, I primarily use overhead, steady-mounted shots for YouTube and social media, as well as occasional live streams. For photography, I mainly focus on product photography and
