You should try some film simulations, using Picture Profile. There is a guy on youtube who made a lot of different simulations for Sony cameras and he has 8 free profiles. I took Ektar 100 as a base and adjusted some settings for my personal taste. It was way better than any other Sony PP or Creativ

Two cameras: Canon R50V Sony ZVE10 Canon has much better video features and is newer than the Sony, but the lens ecosystem in Sony is unparalleled. I would choose the canon here just because my focus is videography. If photography was in my priorities i would choose Sony.
