Hands on with the RED Raptor XE this week - AMA!
Terrible at taking photos, 0/10. The Sony A6000 beats this thing any day of the week.

I’m a birder and want to take clearer photos than this; any camera suggestions?
You might have to push your budget a little, a used Sony a6000 & 55-210 for around £350-400. This will give you much better quality images.

Should I get a secondhand a6000
I picked up an a6000 myself as a first "real camera" last month. Purchased for $429 from MPB.com, condition listed as "good," but I've had zero complaints. It came with a charger and battery. Bought my own bag, SD card, tripod, etc. Paired with a viltrox 25mm f/1.7 and a Sony 18-55mm zoom lens. I've

Kleine Digitalkamera für Reisen
Ein alter Sony A6000 mit 18-50 ist klein, wahrscheinlich günstig und du kannst gorßartige Bilder machen.

What's a good camera to buy for beginners?
A used Sony a6000 with the kit lens is a great low-risk starting point, since it sits comfortably under $500 secondhand and gives a real jump in image quality over a phone without committing to a big spend before you know if photography sticks. You can always trade it in to upgrade later on if you f

Talk me out of a potential mistake.........
This is my answer too. You already own a three lens kit. Drop the cash to rent the Sony and see if you fall in love with it. Embrace the fact that you want a camera that is based on not purely logic, but how it makes you feel when you edit the photos. There's nothing wrong with that. Pixel peeping a

I used 90% of my bank money to buy my first camera and a lens (it's a sony a6000 with 7artisan 25mm). I haven't regretted it yet but surely surviving on what's left is hard

from Sony to Fuji
I just switched from sony a6000 (with sigma 18-50) to Fuji xt50 and I'm very happy. Currently I have the 27mm f2.8 r wr lens. I got a good deal on the new 16-50mm kit lens on eBay but I haven't tested it yet. So far I'm very happy. So far the 27mm lens is great. It's very descrete and can fit easily

Wish You Were Here 🧑🏻🚀
The story behind this piece, was the most absolutely amazingly beautiful day on glacier point. I was going back and forth between 3 cameras. 2 taking time lapses, and a 3rd on a gimbal. This Timelapse came out absolutely stunning. This Timelapse was taken on a Full Spectrum modified Sony A6000 (a VE

Torn on what camera to get – Sony a6000, Ricoh GRIIIx, or something else?
You seem to be very hung up on the age of these cameras. That's really not a factor. For video shooting it does matter a ton since there are still strides being made there, but for stills shooting, the technology largely hit a plateau in I would say 2012-3 give or take. The A6000 is from 2014 and it
