Do you regret selling your once beloved camera?
No. It’s just stuff. Digital cameras are meant to be replaced. I have a bunch of analog cameras I hold more dear to. But if I need to get rid of it to pay bills, then off it goes. Most cameras that the average person has is just a mass produced tool, you can always get another one. It’s not a 1/50 L

Paul and Morgan are selling their camera 👀👀👀 let’s speculate
Those sonys are good cameras. I’ve had the a6000 since 2018 or so, and it’s such a workhorse. That said, I prefer the 30mm sigma lens, but I’m more often doing landscape and travel photography, not vlogging.

My Leica D-Lux 8 became unusable in under two years. Leica rejected the warranty claim and wants £564 to repair it
Borrowed my friend's for a weekend and it got a system zoom error within minutes of him dropping it off. I felt awful about it but he told me it'd be the 2nd repair. What an unreliable camera for the money it costs. I have a Sony A6000 from 2014 still going strong. I have a Nikon D40 from 2006, just

Is it normal for an (admittedly very used) Sony A7S motherboard to have components that looks that heated up ?
Sony mirrorless were infamous for overheating, the a6000 series especially, but the A7 series wasn't spared either. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what most professionally used ones looked like on the pcb.

1 month of birding
I found a really good used deal on an a7iv after the a6000 I used for years as webcam, crapped out on my 4th outing with it. Some of these are with a tamron 50-300, and others(the last few) are with a sony 200-600 im renting for a couple of weeks through this migration season.

Is there anyone who has used both Sony and Olympus cameras?
I had an a6000 for 10 years before switching to an OM-5 mk.II last year, best decision ever. To be honest, most of the 10 years I had the a6000 I was in a photography "hiatus" because of mainly personal reasons but, when I decided to start taking pictures again last year, I started struggling again
