A6000

Honestly the GR imo was never meant as an entry level camera. A used Sony a6000, Fuji X-T20 or even an R50 and anything along those lines are better to learn on, more intuitive, and versatile for someone trying to experiment and find their style.

Lol i had this cam it’s rly so mid. The “soft” vibe that fuji gives off is bec it doesnt focus well so the photos arent sharp. The color profile sucks. Fujifilm recipes are glorified filters, you can download lightroom presets. If u want a starter camera, get a secondhand sony a6000/6300/6400.

Not who you responded too, but i started with my phone then went to a sony a6000 and the kit telephoto lens. I didnt get any crazy photos but it was a lot of fun to try and sneak closer to the birds for a better picture, and it was only 400ish used which is a lot, but not much in the camera world. N

2: Sony is a very future proof mount - more so than M4/3 certainly. Broadly there is no reason to expect any current mount to go away except for financial reasons, and as Sony E is the most used mirrorless mount it is the least likely to go away. 1: Your bigger limitation will likely be the a6000's
