Sorry i can't comment on the MTW 4, But to share my experiences as of late: in 2016 i purchased hd 598 from Amazon, they still work to this day, they've been dropped, mishandled and all sorts, i have slammed them (Stupidly first few years, thanks league of legends), they work almost fine, they rattl

If you want to go around $150 to $200 range AND still have the bam 500 mic compatible then look at the 560s (more comfortable and gaming focused) and 599( more music focused). I personally have the 599 with the bam mic attachment. 400 range. If gaming and comfort are you top priority then hands down

Background noise on a lot of media like pod casts and stuff was just amplified vs all the other headphones i have used. I feel like it. I used to use razer electra headsets for my pc - then in 2016 experienced the hd 598 - amazing, no issues, 10 years later, i'm struggling to replace them with NEW headphones that do the SAME job.
