This is game is made for OLED
I play on 49 inch ultrawide Samsung G9 OLED 240hz. Let me tell you, it feels amazing. If you have a good HOSAS build just makes it extra immersive. Suddenly just flying randomly slowly around is way more fun and you will do a lot.

Anyone have experience of using an Oled monitor in mixed business / pleasure scenario?
Avoid older OLED (generally called WOLED) tech for text. They use a pentile pixel layout which isn't supported by Windows or other operating systems so sub pixel rendering isn't supported and can lead to very jarring and difficult to read text. There are a few oleds you can get away with like a Sams

...They're good as secondary monitor but not as primary monitors, you're sacrificing too much versatility and exposing yourself to uneven burn-in. What exactly am I sacreficing ? it would be exceptionally hard to get burn-ins on a VA panel, this is not OLED. For both productivity and gaming, they offer

Is 4k worth it over 2k for OLED??
I’d never go back to 2K……it’s just a blurry version of 4K….and if you go OLED. Be prepared to never go back to anything else as well. I’ve had 6-7 OLEDS by now. Only sold them to keep upgrading. Now I have two 65” LG C2 with plans to upgrade one to a G5….pc gaming and series x gaming on them is anot

Advice Switching from Dual 4k
You might be interested in the Samsung dual displays. There’s a couple. I think it’s the 57in Neo G9 that is equivalent of dual 4k 27in monitors. Pretty impressive and down to $1599.

mod made for 5120x1440
Thanks, my monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G9 Oled. It's really good, the downside is many games require a mod for 32:9 aspect ratio.

Don't find OLEDs to be "Infinitely better" as people seem to insist
i also have both and i'm the opposite. my OLED isn't tandem so that might change my mind or get me closer to considering switching. playing doom eternal with both monitors hooked up my ultragear oled looked dull due to how aggressive the ABL is, while the neo g9 was searing my eyeballs while still s

MSI Claw 7/8 AI+ with 4K Monitor for daily office tasks
I use my claw 8ai with an Samsung Odyssey G9 and a dell dock, works like any normal Laptop, so Office and Webbrowser are perfectly fine. I would not expect to much on 4K gaming, that is pretty demanding…but you can always set the ingame resultion to 1080p

Advice about curved monitors please? Price wise etc.
Sorry, I cannot find a good miniled curved VA panel, except Samsung Neo G7/G8/G9, and curved oled is way out of your budget. Maybe ask this question again in november/december, 7 months is a long time in technology
