What is the best cost-effective ultrawide for the sim?

I wouldn't exactly call a G9 (or any Samsung for that matter) reliable. I know several people that have owned them, and so far 100% of them have a terminal failure. One inside the 3 year warranty period, but mostly just outside, and Samsung won't do a thing to help you if it's gone over that 3 year

Desk design complete (WFH full time)

I just got it yesterday. It’s the Samsung 49" Odyssey OLED G9 Dual QHD 144Hz 0.03ms Gaming Monitor S49DG91DSN. I got it refurbished and so far so good but my partner said that I need to be careful of screen burn since it’s an OLED so I don’t have my taskbar, email, or teams up off to the side at all

What is the best cost-effective ultrawide for the sim?

nah you are 100% right, the g9 has had countless issues and samsung loves to implement loads of tv esque bloat into their monitors thats just not needed.

Can you split one monitor into 2 fake monitors

Which monitor?? I have a Samsung G9 and in the settings on the monitor itself it has PIP/PBP which allows for splitting my 5120x1440p monitor into 2-2560x1440p monitors. You just need to connect 2 input cables. I have 1 HDMI and 2 DP inputs so I have 2 DP's connected. Don't mind the cable mess. My p

Monitor question

Most people here would say triples are king, I dont inherently disagree either, but I do personally use the odyssey G9 super ultra wide. That oled panel and no bezel across the entire windscreen is amazing. That being said you do get a more total experience with triples

Curious about your experiences: Single Ultrawide vs. Triple Screen Setup?

I have a Odyssey G9 57, which is arguably the best single monitor solution. I chose it for aesthetics, ease of use, and because I enjoy several non-sim games, and there's no better monitor for some of those. That said, if better race craft is your goal, it's triples and it's not a debate. There's ju

9070xt or 5070ti for new sim racing pc

There will be some who say the 5070ti is specifically better for triple monitors (especially on iRacing), but otherwise the 9070XT is what I have (an outstanding card), and it does absolutely everything I throw at it in sim racing on a Odyssey G9 57". Neither is a bad choice, and will be good for a
