Is it normal to take this long?
It doesn’t have a DRAM cache, so at some point there will be a huge drop in speed (we’re talking slower-than-7200 RPM HDD slow) which makes it completely useless for me. It’s also terrible for gaming. Instead of installing a game in 8 minutes, it can take up to an hour. Endurance if the SSD is lower

What if I install M.2 NVMe into one of the additional slots instead of the main slot? (Aorus X870E Elite Wifi7 motherboard)
To use x3 SSDs i'm applied as workaround a m.2 pci-e expansion card into slot which goes through chipset pci-e lines to not deduce lines for the GPU (from 16x to 8x). Did that matter for my rx9070xt? Most likely no. I use x870e pro ice, but seems Gigabyte didn't changed plans for other mobo models i
