Looks like Thinkpad L14, Lenovo’s “budget” Thinkpad will cost the same as Framework Laptop 13 Pro for identical CPU, SSD and RAM specs.
Storage prices are absolutely insane and that's even in the lens of modern RAM pricing trends. I was at Micro Center last week and saw a 2.5" Samsung 870 Evo 4tb for $2070.

Kingston shipped 100 million A400 SSDs and SATA still refuses to die
Once pricing falls again, it'll be great to have a big SSD expansion, especially when you have no more m.2, that isn't their awful QVO drives. (Which I have one of. It's great but also oof.) Exactly. Seagate's 4tb 2.5 HDD is over TEN TIMES cheaper than Samsung's 4tb 870 EVO. At least there is still an option for cheap bulk storage.
