I have a Royal Kludge r75 keyboard, and I'm quite satisfied with it, but I like to use my computer at night, and it's quite loud. I'd like to ask about the switches, and I've been considering the TTC Frozen Silent v2 switches. Will they be compatible with my keyboard? Will there be a lot of hassle?

To answer your actual question, Epomaker and Royal Kludge are decent starter brands, but their keyboards aren't quiet except for the TH108 or thr RT82. Both of those models ship with squashy Sea Salt Silent linear switches. Most silent switches are squashy, including the ones you mentioned. Akko Pen

I recommend the Kisnt KN, Aula F, Royal Kludge R, or iLovBee B keyboards. None of them are aluminum, but all of them are deliciously thocky and cheaper. And if you have to have aluminum, I like the Epomaker Galaxy keyboards way more than the Yunzii AL ones.

Yeah there are some decent 75% options like the Royal Kludge RK84 and Keychron K2 if you want something compact with a function row. The Redragon K617 is fairly quiet if it has red switches, but still a bit clacky like most mechanical keyboards. Blue switches would be much louder.
