GF and I (26M/F) got into a huge fight over a keyboard. Thinking about ending things based on her behavior
This. I got a mechanical keyboard secondhand from my elder sister, a Royal Kludge keyboard. It's considered a budget mechanical keyboard (but still quite expensive for me imo), so it's not the best. It's seen better days, but when a key suddenly stopped working, I just changed the switches to fix it

Madlions Mad60HE Users. Kamusta ang keeb niyo?
not a user but generally anything cheaper than its supposed to be will always have a lot of quality control issues, and that keyboard has been out for a few years now, no fixes on any mentioned issues, software is still terrible, not to mention there are also some reports of the keyboard just killin

Royal Kludge S98 - ISO DE Version First Hands On
I don’t have a ton of experience with mechanical keyboards yet, but this feels like excellent value for the money. Unfortunately, they have perhaps the worst reputation for reliability of any mechanical keyboard brand, ever. So bad it became a meme. Even the name is trolling you. Sorry... don't shoo

Are there any vendors selling reliable, QMK-compliant, entry-level keyboards?
The Royal Kludge RK61 is in the main QMK repo and cheap. The standard layout is kind of screwed up but since it's qmk it can be fixed, and the firmware builds reliably... if you have a look in my GitHub I've got a vial port for it. It's a 60% of course but with mod-tap arrows you shouldn't have any

Aula F75 Glacier Blue with Ice Vein switches or Aula F87 Pro White Green?
Buying your first mechanical keyboard with your own money is a big milestone! Congrats! 🎉 To answer your question directly: Between the two, the Aula F75 with Ice Vein switches is the winner for what you need. Here’s why: 1. The Sound: The F75 has a "thockier" and deeper sound profile. It’s satisfyi

Baby's first decent keyboard
For 200 Euros there are quite a lot of good options. I would avoid companies like Razer, they tend to be overpriced and... less than ideal design. Looking at the prices in Amazon Ireland, I see your point. It seems to be dominated by Attack Shark, which is a terrible company that's actively defraudi
