Thinking about getting the ASUS Zephyrus G14 with Intel 386H and 5080, how is this laptop in day to day usage?
Get the g16 varient, the 14inch version has inferior cooling and alot of people are facing daily crashing issues. Ive got last years 2025 g16 with the rtx 5080, ultra 9 285h, 32gb ram and 2tb ssd and its been problem free. Love this laptop, runs everything without hiccups, I use it for running local

Which one is better
Is the 2TB NVMe in the laptop pictured a Gen5 NVMe or a Gen4 NVMe? I just got an 18” Area-51 with the same exact specs of the one you pictured as long as the NVMe is Gen5 cause that’s what I got and absolutely love it. It handles any game I throw at it at max or near max settings, it is also the bes

Finally Found the "One"
Razer laptops are notorious for getting really hot during gameplay...I still have my Early 2021 Razer Blade 15 Advanced (Intel i7 and Rtx 3070) and its still just as hot during normal use (like simply browsing the internet or watching a YouTube video) and during gameplay its way worse (had to buy a

why is there so much negative discourse around razer
I don't hate Razer at all, but am unlikely to buy another laptop of theirs. Peripherals? Sure, no problem. Those are cheap and easy for them or me to replace in a day or two. Laptop? No, for a couple of reasons. I got a solid 4 years out of a 2021 Blade 15 with a 3070. It was great, but died and the

Guidance for buying a laptop
You need to define the games and reasonable price. And as a software engineer, are you going to run VMs? Or an IDE and tool chain? Regardless, my current go to for gaming and software work is Razor. But to me the biggest deal is sound. I can't handle a laptop that gets loud so I adjust the settings

I tried a Razer Blade yesterday for the first time and I'm both impressed and underwhelmed
I opened it up yesterday to clean it off, I didn't see any point of contact between the bottom case and any kind of heatsink. The top case was kinda hot, but it wasn't that bad around the keyboard area, the biggest problem was right over the keyboard, right over the heatsinks. It's seriously hot aft

Razer adjustable laptop stand and razer blade 18 2025
i ran into this with my blade 15. the razer stand covers some vents but honestly the gap underneath is big enough that airflow doesn't get choked. the stand lifts the back up so the fans pull air from the sides and front anyway. just make sure you're not blocking the main intake grilles completely.

Just bought Razer Blade 4090 2023
Hey, I have a Razer Blade 15 Adv 3070ti i7 12800h, I have owned it since 2022 without any issues and decent care to cleaning fans etc. I bought it initially for university and gaming on the side and it had decent battery life when I used throttle stop and optimized my windows 11, maybe 3-6 hours dep

I built a Linux app to control Razer Blade laptops - fan curves, power profiles, RGB, battery health - no kernel modules needed!
I have a Razer Blade Advanced early 2020:Bus 001 Device 005: ID 1532:0253 Razer USA, Ltd RZ09-0330, Gaming Laptop [Blade 15 Advanced (Early 2020)] I am running Bazzite and i am wondering if your app would work since this thing heats like crazy and i am genuinely bothered about how its gonna cook its

Blade 18 Owners: Would You Buy It Again?
My 2021 Blade 15 Advanced died like a month ago. It basically spicy pillowed itself to death internally without any outward sign. It was always on a cooling stand, so I didn't get another Razer. I enjoyed mine, but its i7 never handled heat well, and I didn't want to deal with the same throttleneck
