Get a gaming laptop with an RTX 5060. No need for RTX blackwell and the vPro . Any Decent Intel or AMD CPU will do. Their recommendations are based on professional business machines . Those have vPro and the Blackwell cards.but costs like 4k to 5k for a good one. A similar Gaming laptop with same or

Buying help

If they're already lugging around a gaming laptop, they can lug around a power supply. Solves 1 of the problems. Also the Asus TUF A14 is only like 3 pounds. A macbook pro is around the same weight.

AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 detailed as a cut-down Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with powerful Radeon 8060S iGPU

And if typical AMD release patterns hold true, only a few, very expensive, SKUs will be available in 2027. I'm not banking on buying a Medusa Halo product that fits my budget until late 2028 at the earliest. Don't sleep on this expanded Strix Halo availability. These should be priced to compete with

Just bought Z13, not sure I like that hand feel of it tho

Your use case/wishlist sounds very much like mine, and I also considered all of the same options it sounds like you are. The ProArt PX13/GoPro Edition would be basically perfect for me if not for the 60hz display. It's so frustrating because the Max+ 395 chipset is incredible, but every device that

BSARCH what laptop do you guys use or u recommended?

Not from arki, but got friends who are: Brand is not going to be a concern. What you should be focusing more is the specifications, especially if the laptop in question has discrete graphics. Because that's going to heavily factor your gpu renderings and/or task involving 3D-related shenanigans. Thi

Should I use my 4070 g14 as my main computer?

TLDR; Minimalize (is that a word?), sell desktop, keep laptop, finish up school, and then go back to what you are most comfortable with afterwards! Bro the 4070 mobile GPU is more than capable at handling any type of gaming at high graphics 60+ fps (and 60 is putting it low, you definitely can run m

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 vs Razer Blade 14 (price difference in Germany)

The Razer does look like the better overall deal tbh, but I imagine the Asus will have far better battery life (the G14 series is known for great battery life). So if you value battery life, go with Asus, otherwise just get the Razer. I would also look into the Asus TUF A14 and Asus Pro Art PX13, bo

Recommended laptops for Fashion Design students

3D related shenanigans especially renderings really wants discrete graphics (GPU other term) Problem, commonly found on gaming laptops. Not really the "lightest" with "good batteries" to say, unless willing to sell your kidneys (I'm joking) to the Asus TUF A14 or ROG G14 There are productivity lapto

BSARCH what laptop do you guys use or u recommended?

I'll try my best to simplify this: There are multiple models/generation of whatever brand you're eyeing. Take the Asus TUF lineup, I can 50/50 agree because their older models used to have crappy build quality and heating problems back in the days. Another example is the Asus V16 models, Asus market

BS-Arch MacBook Pro or Gaming Laptop

Gaming laptops are a safer bet because alot of 3D modelling software heavily prefers discrete graphics, aka the graphics card + I'm no arki student, but got friends who are not just in Benilde. Depending on what programs you use, not everything is available in Mac (and they are harder to crack, if y
