I’ve officially hit rock bottom: The Windows laptop market is so bad right now I’m actually considering a MacBook. Help.

Honestly, I totally get where you're coming from. I used to main a Razer Blade 15 (2021 Base, 16gb) and it was fine on Win 10, but the second I updated to 11, it just tanked and felt so sluggish. If I had to put it on a speedometer, that experience was a 10. I grabbed a MacBook Air M1 (8gb) and it a

[AwesomeWM] Finally switched! I use Arch BTW

Switched to Linux at last. Still can't get Hyprland to work with my Razer Blade 15. So finally, settled with AwesomeWM. Really love customizations it offers so far. why is there so much negative discourse around razer

I don't hate Razer at all, but am unlikely to buy another laptop of theirs. Peripherals? Sure, no problem. Those are cheap and easy for them or me to replace in a day or two. Laptop? No, for a couple of reasons. I got a solid 4 years out of a 2021 Blade 15 with a 3070. It was great, but died and the

Framework 13 now, or wait for next-gen APUs/LPCAMM2?

Because i got a FW16 with a 5070 GPU and all new parts, my perspective will probably be pretty skewed, so for what its worth: i have a razer blade 15 with coincidentally the exact same specs as you (just half the ram) i feel the same way about it today as you do for your helios. As far as i know, fr

Razer Blades can be amazing and faultless as well!

My Razer Blade 15 2022 3070Ti 240qz 4K OLED is still going strong as well. I do agree synapse 4 is annoying but yes they will eventually fix it. I don’t think I would have bought any other laptop due to the build and quality. In the future I do plan to get the Blade 16 though. Most of the time I see

Secure boot Setup mode

You have to hack the bios to make the options appear - razer are hiding them it seems: https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/b56l60/blade_15_adv_19_unlocking_the_bios_and_disabling/

Long time fans - how do you feel now?

Razer was my childhood myth. When growing up as a gamer, Razer wasn't available in my country, their producst were almost mythical. Ive wanted it a lot. Now, ive been using Blade 15 as a laptop, using blackwidow v3, viper v3 hyperspeed, 2 Razer addressable RGB on my case, barracuda X. All my products

How good is the new Razer Blackshark V3 Pro? I wanna buy them for my gaming laptop.

Oh goodie! Namecalling! You did it first so now I get to respond in kind. Why put the sub bass frequency bands on the Spatial Audio equalizer tuning if you can't hear them or feel them? Why do you think they do that, dipshit idiot? It's meant to make the headset sound better if done correctly, but t

Compatibility with dual booting Ubuntu

I haven't dual booted on a Blade. I have a 2022 Blade 15 and I've used Ubuntu on it for a little over a year straight (back on Windows now). The driver support was actually pretty good. Nvidia has official driver support. I had to enable it in the Additional Drivers menu and switch to the proprietar
