What are the best E-readers?
Kindle and Kobo are the main two most established brands of the space. The former generally tend to be a bit better built and less buggy, and supports some great QoL features like syncing across devices for sideloaded content and send-to-Kindle. Kindle books can only be read on the Kindle device or

Hate on Kindle
The hatred is for Amazon, not kindles specifically. Although side loading and managing your library externally is definitely easier with other ereaders as well. I've also had several Oasis and moved to the Pocketbook Era. You're right that the oasis is very well made, but I still much prefer the gen

Can't find a solution for a 7" pls help
If you don’t want to search the used market for a Libra 2, then look into the Boox Go 7 BW device or Pocketbook Era BW

eReader Empfehlung

Boox Go 7 concern
android 13 will be fine for basic reading for years. apps like koreader or plain epub readers don't demand much. the bigger thing is battery life over time, but that's any e-reader. if the go 7 hits your checklist with sd card and buttons, it's a solid pick. pocketbook era is the main alternative wi

Kobo vs. Boox vs. Pocketbook for a majority Libby reader
The Android ereaders are cool because you can download any app that’s on the Play Store including Libby. Other than that though, I find them lacking in many other ways such as battery life and overall UI (my opinion). I got a Pocketbook Era and love it. Easy to side load books via the cloud and it d

Libby user looking for E reader
I have a kobo Clara bw and a pocketbook era color and both have Libby access. Pocketbook allows for more than one library card but kobo only allows one without a work around. I do find I don’t even use Libby on the kobo because it’s not the best on mine for some reason and instead I just use the app

It's been an expensive 6 months since leaving Kindle
Growing up in school I hated reading. None of the required reading books ever did anything for me, so I rarely actually read them. But that all changed in 2011 when I got a Kindle Keyboard and found out I could read books that I actually liked. It's been wondering and I've been singing the praises o

Can I live with the Paperwhite or should go for the Pocketbook Era
I've spent the last 2 months testing multiple ereaders, with Pocketbook Era (both color and BW) and the Kindle Signature Edition being the main candidates. Screen quality - I had to change my Era 3 times to arrive at an acceptable quality unit. The screen is sidelid, meaning there will be a gradient

Trying to get out of the kindle ecosystem
I just went from a Kindle Keyboard to a Pocketbook Era and love it. I wanted text-to-speech and the different voice options were a bonus. I do use my Calibre library and the Send to Pocketbook cloud to read my Kindle books.
