What is the reason for having so many ereaders? I have the pocketbook era and love it

it's a terrible error because EVERYONE has caught it. this is not like a bad run of books with pages out of order (very common in the pocket paper book era) or a spelling error /obscure grammatical error. i rarely agree with the "they need better editors" complaints as the people making those claims
