S5iiX and S1ii longtime user here! Been in this situation hunting lenses, many times, for10 yrs. Short answer if one-and-done: Sigma 20-200 Tried almost all Sigmas and Lumixes, bought every FF L mount focal length from primes to zooms, 14-200mm. M4/3 too. Can't go wrong with any starting out really.

Upgrade G9 to G9ii (much better in every way from sensor to AF) and keep PL 12-60 f/2.8-4 (add PL 50-200 f/2.8-4 and if need further reach 100-400ii f/4-6.3, both work well with 1.4x teleconverters) and get an S5ii with 24-60 f/2.8 and 35-150 f/2-2.8 and be done. High frame rates on the S5II which require an APS-C crop, selfie/vertical videos, Astro & landscape photography. Plenty of uses for a 16mm prime, especially a quality one with AF. Much more accessible than the sigma 14mm or 15mm Art lenses, wider than the lumix 18mm or Sigma 20mm primes.

I would go for the S5ii and the GX9 - my heart will always prefer M4/3 but I'm not convinced Panasonic feels the same, so the sensible thing to do is have a full frame system as well. The S5ii might not be as compact as the S9 but I still want a mechanical shutter on my camera.
