I currently use an Olympus OMD E-M5 MkII, and I've managed to bring the telephoto lens with me to some sporting events/stadiums because it's just so compact, lol. Sometimes I think about moving to the Canon R or Sony Alpha system, but I'm too embedded in the Olympus/OM ecosystem to really want to ch

The "kit" lens for om-3 is actually stupidly good. It's one of the sharpest zooms on the system and it does it all wide open at f4. It's great for semi-macro too since it can focus pretty close. It's also light, small and weather sealed.

I’m a few days into my ownership of an OM3. It’s my first M43 camera and I’m thoroughly impressed. I mostly shot Fuji since 2016 until I moved to a Nikon ZF a few years back. I had the X100VI and thankfully was able to flip it for no loss after a month. The AF on the X100VI, while better for Fuji st

Hey I have an OM3 and it was my first camera in the MFT ecosystem. Paired it with the excellent 12-40 f2.8 for really good weather sealing. I've been out in really heavy snow storms in Canada and Scandinavian rain without issues. Added the 40-150 f2.8 for action and now I'm looking at the 60mm macro

Hi, me again :) (i'm even more in M43) 1- The weather resistant bodies are not the lightest or the cheapest. On the lighter side, the best is the OM-3 and the best value the Lumix G95/G95D/G97 . 2- There are plenty of good M43 lenses in M43, new or used. It's a vast system but... ... the wr lenses a

Longterm, shifting over to an a7CII and a 35 prime like the Sigma 35 f/2 DG would save considerable weight. You'd save even more weight by shifting systems to something like m4/3. The OM System OM-3 with their 17.5mm f/1.8 II would be a featherweight setup compared to your current rig, and have bett

Unless you're adapting an old manual lens from Nikon F, Canon FD, Olympus OM or Leica M, which would be pointless anyway, because the sensor will outresolve those vintage lenses, then I don't see many instances of there being longer lenses. It's been a while since I did look at the manual lens lineu

For context, I have experience with both systems. I started photography last year with an Olympus E-M1, and eventually switched to a Fujifilm X-T3 which is a significantly better camera. But likewise, I've enjoyed my experiences with both systems. I really enjoyed Fujifilm because of the Film Recipe
