Idk what camera you are using but my om-3 autofocus is a lot better than my Lumix s5ii and about 80% as good as my canon r8

I sold my x100vi not long after I picked up the OM-3. It’s a much better camera in almost any way. Yes, larger, but it’s still very compact with some lenses. Video is much, much better on THE OM-3! The focus difference is night and day too!

R8 is a base model full frame with minimal features, it lacks weather sealing, stabilization, and uses a small battery. It's main selling point is that it's a full frame but not much else going for it. OM-3 is a flagship level camera with IP rated weather sealing, 7.5 stops of IBIS with stabilized l

This is the usual PoV of a FF user who hasn't used M43 and really has no idea what he's talking about. He is basically repeating internet rhetoric that he hasn't bothered to explore. Ask him which M43 cameras & lenses he's used? If you want an unbiased PoV then check out the numerous Wedding photogr

With that glass lineup I think you will definitely regret leaving M43... If you use Lightroom check out George Holden's film recipies... Has a full list of Fuji and Kodak so while it's not in camera you still get them after the fact. If you haven't tried LR Mobile definitely do, they work in that as

Thanks! Honestly, I like them both. I'm lucky enough to not have to sell the GX9, so for street I prefer the GX9 because it is way more rogue. The combo GX9 + 15mm PanaLeica is by far my favorite. The OM-3 is certainly a looker, and the autofocus improvements are considerable, specially with subject

I’m a few days into my ownership of an OM3. It’s my first M43 camera and I’m thoroughly impressed. I mostly shot Fuji since 2016 until I moved to a Nikon ZF a few years back. I had the X100VI and thankfully was able to flip it for no loss after a month. The AF on the X100VI, while better for Fuji st

Kids and family photographer here. I would normally advise investing more in lenses than in a body. But there’s a catch. The OM-3 and/or OM-1 have a better autofocus system than all other cameras. Especially for kids, I have two on my own here at home (4, 7). Autofocus is, for me, the most important

Hey I have an OM3 and it was my first camera in the MFT ecosystem. Paired it with the excellent 12-40 f2.8 for really good weather sealing. I've been out in really heavy snow storms in Canada and Scandinavian rain without issues. Added the 40-150 f2.8 for action and now I'm looking at the 60mm macro

Fuji autofocus is the worst of the mainstream companies. Fuji weather sealing is unreliable. I didn't find the 40mp on the X-T5 anywhere near as croppable as my Nikon Z7 (45mp). I'm not sure if that's the Xtrans, the file processing, or what. It just didn't retain detail as much as it should have. P
