Boox or another ereader to replace Kindle PW?
I replaced my Oasis with a Musnap Ocean, and my daughter's with the Boox go 7 ($209 refurb from). The Musnap can be had for $168 after coupon ("brand promotion") on Amazon. They are both fine devices. The real difference is the Boox has a flush screen, so it feels more premium, but that makes it mor

Anyone here has a the Musnap Ocean BW? What are your thoughts on it? How good is the screen?
The Musnap Ocean BW surprisingly turned out to be my favorite 7" e-ink device. There is just something about the screen resolution & front light implementation that produces one of the best (paper-like whiteness) displays.

Are there any good 7 inch bw options right now?
I like my Musnap Ocean quite a lot. Carta 1300, very snappy processor, very basic skin of android. It is also frequently on sale and is generally the cheapest option with physical page turn buttons. It also has a recessed screen which I think gives it more clarity.

Libby user looking for an e-reader
Out of those, I only have experience with my boox go 7 (monochrome), which I love. That being said I’ve heard it’s not great for note taking (which I don’t do), I think the go 6 has a much better note taking experience. From what I can gather musnap ocean is pretty similar, with a newer version of a

Kobo Clara BW vs. the new Boox Go 6 (Gen 2)
https://ereadercatalog.com/e-readers/compare/musnap-neo-2/boox-go-6-gen-ii Neo 2 has larger battery, faster and more power efficient SoC/chipset too. I've owned a lot of boox devices, they usually get around 18-22~ hours of on time. My new musnap ocean is doing 44 right now, still it's on initial fu

musnap ocean bw or boox go 7?
Musnap ocean, this is basically an internationalized ireader ocean 5c but with a bw recessed screen like their more expensive ocean 5 pro: Better screen (it's recessed, text will be clearer and look better under any light. In China only the ireader ocean 5 pro has this, which is very well received b

I need a 7-8" BW ereader with buttons. Suggestions?
Boox Go 7 or Musnap Ocean are the only two I know of with Carta 1300 and physical page turn buttons. I have used both and they are excellent. Really comes down to what skin of android you prefer.

This new 8.2-inch iReader looks interesting, but no front light
I'm pretty happy with my Musnap Ocean so far (global iReader Ocean 5 pro/5c), so I'm going to sit on it for a while until we get better Carta screens or something like that, but I did want to eventually move into something like a 7.5-8 inch screen format if they do it right. Would need to be light e

Completely lost on which e-reader to buy
Pocketbook is great but it's slow. They don't use the fastest hardware. I really like my musnap ocean but not sure if it being android is a deal breaker and waterproof might be an issue. Otherwise it is great. Snappy, functional, screen feels clearer than other same model screens I have, which I'm n

Completely lost on which e-reader to buy
I would lean musnap ocean or neo 2. If you need colour they have colour versions but I prefer the bw versions because bw only screens have higher contrast. Beauty of android is you can get and use any app, including kindle. The battery is very good too, better than any boox device. Also higher quali
