How does the new nvidia dgx spark compare to Minisforum MS-S1 MAX ?

DGX is not for anything other than AI, and big models at that. It's a 5070ti speed wise. The 5070ti has 896GB/s memory bandwidth while the DGX Spark and the Minisforum S1 Max have 256GB/s memory bandwidth so it's literally 3.5x slower. You don't buy it for that. You buy it to run 200b parameter mode

Considering buying a mini PC to exclusively run Steam (need some advice)

Agreed, however, that Minisforum MS-S1 Max is about the most powerful (and expensive) miniPC you can get, and it's not really that small. It's more like a small PC, not a MiniPC. The iGPU in it is the 8060S, which is equivalent to a 7600XT. That's a last-gen mid-range GPU. It's not considered a 4K c

Mac M1 MAX, 64gb - Qwen-3.6-coding or 3-Coder-Next? 35b or 27b

I bought the Minisforum MS-S1 Max for local AI. I had no idea how bad local AI was compared to Opus, but I'm glad I didn't buy anything more expensive than this thing was. Definitely feel like I wasted money. The one thing I'm happy about is that I have private access to uncensored models.

Corsair please read. there is blood in the water! (How Corsair Destroys valve's new steam machine)

If 1080P gaming is your goal, it is an exceptional piece of hardware, but that is where the exceptional part ends when it comes to gaming. An RTX 5080 laptop has the absolute raw TDP and graphics hardware to obliterate strix halo. We aren't just talking double digit gaines here. we are talking about

How does the new nvidia dgx spark compare to Minisforum MS-S1 MAX ?

What a ridiculous post. It's not "a bit", and nothing justifies buying it at $3999 vs a Minisforum S1 Max at $2399. Training using the full Nvidia professional stack absolutely justifies it for a certain demographic. You're not it. Sounds gimmicky, for local, NVMe drives are fine and for connectivit

MS-S1 MAX + WSL + C++

Buying an MS-S1 Max for C++ development is like buying a Bugatti for your work commute Because C++ compilers won't even look at the GPU? They love cores and RAM though. That's what grabbed my attention. But I am very early in my selection process. My current "mainframe" is a headless HM90 with 32 GB

Anyone here owns a Beelink SER9 Pro 64GB, and upgraded from a 6800/7735 based Mini PC?

I am getting the refurb barebone and needed the upgradable ram to max it out at 128GB ram for LLM. The crucial 128GB 32x2 kit is 5600 but I run that at 6000 fine for months on my minisforum 795S7 oculink to a 5070 ti buy limited to 16GB VRAM. SER9 tops out at 64GB soldered. I'll take the minor hit t
