I was considering the MS-02 Ultra and in fact obtained 64GB of DDR5 Sodimm already but hold on to the idea after I saw a few posts about Minisforum quality control issues.

It looks like the 02 Ultra is based on the MS-01 motherboard with some mods that are not yet known. IIRC it has a similar arrangement on the underside of the motherboard, like it can take a U.2 NVME drive, but still 7mm only? I have some spare 15mm drives I can't use in the MS-01. The config I am eyeing has 192GB, thus > 128GB. Now I saw some comments that say that you cannot run it at max speed if you fill the RAM slots, to 256GB. But what's the threshold? It would be awhile for them to do panther lake. Minisforum is not really a tier-1 manufacturer that gets their part quickly (at least not yet), so say if panther lake releases in January, it would be around October the earliest you start seeing decent amount of minisforum standard PC based products
