For women who NEVER wear makeup, what lead you to that choice?

Best drugstore mascara that actually holds up?
For summer or pool or beach or a bold lip I love great lash by maybelline. It's NOT dramatic. It gives a your lash but better look, black, curly and high, amazing for lower lashes too. Doesnt smudge and lasts all day, also waterproof. Also very cheap, 60s vibe and a historic piece of makeup.
