I have the Logitech MX Brio and tbh, it's been awesome so far. It's plug and play, no bloatware forcing itself on you, and it'll make you look like a real person in meetings.

I have this same issue on a Mac M4 (Tahoe 26.1). I would click on a window or menu item and defocus would happen after around 1 second. I have been using Beam Eye Tracker with a Logitech MX Brio cam for about a year or so now. It's been very responsive for me. So much so I had to turn the eye tracking sensitivity down. If you have a decent webcam and want a cheap eye tracker, I believe this is a very decent choice.

Its 2026 and I cant flip my Brio camera using Logitech software. The reason that applications do not support is because they assume the CAMERA manufacture does. Returning this Brio camera for a camera that supports such incredibly basic functionality.

I use the Logitech Brio 4K webcam on top of my monitor - it is stellar. You can put the camera wherever it needs to go, and then tilt/zoom/shift the lens as needed from Logitech's software. It's excellent.
