I grabbed mine on a wicked sale at Best Buy (Samsung S95B) We watched the Mario Brothers movie and my daughter was complaining that the TV was too bright lol. About 30 minutes after tweaking with the settings and stuff, I noticed the corner of the TV screen had a little defect, I thought it was a ch

I think it’s a toss-up on the LG’s, the 52” is wider of course by abt 7” I think, but if you can get the screen as close as possible to you, between the wheelbase & wheel with extension, the 800R curved 45” may get you almost as much FOV due to the greater curve. Another option is the Samsung G9. I

4K for better support and more vertical space. However, I am rocking the LG 45GX950A-B which has more vertical space than standard UWs and now I can't switch. The immersion of such a large screen is unmatched and the OLED screen is excellent. Games run worse than standard 4K, even at 4480x1890 custo

I have a 40" 5K2K IPS (LG 40U990A-W) for work and a 45" 5K2K OLED (LG 45GX950A-B) for casual gaming and media and I honestly can't go back to anything else. GOATed resolution in my opinion. With these two monitors specifically they are big enough and have high enough resolution that they can do it a

Of course !The monitors are KRK Rokit 5 (G4)the sub, a KRK S8.4Also added a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, it outputs a symmetric signal, removing static noises produced by my computer and screen. The screen is the LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A-B, quite expensive, quite large (45inches, 5k), but would 100% r

I drolling over the LG 45” Ultragear 45GX950A. But i worry about oled burn in from having Arcgis pro open for 8-10hrs daily. And im unsure of R800 curve on my mapping. Dell’s 40” is appealing. Id even spring for a Samsung odyssey arc, if it had a higher ppi & if Samsung could ever get thier QC to be

Yes OLED’s all running with Gsync VRR 144hz HDR @ 4K however. I have the LG 45 5k2k next to these at my desk and it doesn’t hold a candle to these except for the UW aspect ratio. So they’re very capable, much brighter, and happen to be much cheaper than monitors (by a lot) too. 42” usually too big f

Well, 4k is definitely an upgrade in image quality, but ultrawide regardless of resolution is also a whole different experience too, so you're more dealing with different form factor that impacts the experience quite significantly than just image quality here, it's a tricky one. The only gaming orie

Yes, I do have a few good monitor suggestions! On the ASUS side, they have the 27" 4k XG27UCDMG. I've heard ASUS OLED panels come straight from LG (who also makes OLED gaming monitors). LG makes a 4k OLED 45" (45GX950A-B) and a 32" (32GS95UV-B). One of my friends has the 45" and he is having a blast

It’s an LG ultragear 45” oled. I think the model number is 45GX950A-B It’s a 5k2k dual mode. 165hz 5k and 330hz 2k. I use it for both my gaming pc and Mac mini when I want to do some cad work or video editing. I have a dedicated monitor for the Mac mini that’s more color accurate but I keep finding
